Pigment Futures
A hands-on workshop where participants translated emotional promises into colour, texture, and movement.
On 5 October 2025, at Hack the Promise in Basel, I opened this workshop as the starting point of my thesis process.
Participants worked with three anchors - kept promises, broken promises, and reimagined promises - and expressed each one through hand-painted marks, colour choices, and textures.
We digitised the painted material and assembled it into a shared animation, tracing how emotional states shift from pigment to pixel. The result is a collective visual record of gestures and reflections, with all contributions kept anonymous.
